The Parsons Volunteer FIre Department is the fire department that is empowered to provide fire protection and first response services for the City of Parsons. The Parsons Volunteer Fire Department also employs the services of other county VFD's in the surrounding districts.

Tucker County Emergency Ambulance Authority, Inc.

Tucker County Emergency Ambulance Authority, Inc. is a branch of emergency services dedicated to providing out-of-hospital acute medical care and/or transport to definitive care, to patients with illnesses and injuries which the patient, or the medical practitioner, believes constitutes a medical emergency. The goal of the Tucker County Emergency Ambulance Authority, Inc. as it relates to Emergency Medical Services is to either provide treatment to those in need of urgent medical care, with the goal of satisfactorily treating the malady, or arranging for timely removal of the patient to the next point of definitive care.
